On V4.4 as well as on V4.1 I face the problem that the twonkymedia server process periodically reaches 100% CPU Usage (and therefore the rest of the PC works very slow). As far as I could see the time between such "100% periods" is somehow constant (about every 4-5s for about 2-3s).
I run only 3 rather small application on this PC (not much load).
I have XP on a AMD 2400+ 1GB RAM.
Does anyone have an idea
Thanks.

Is it whilst indexing?
My server has occasional spikes, but only when scanning (the Wed night 100% CPU use is a full DB rebuild)

During indexing/scanning the load is constant and high and this makes sense to me.
When I talk about load spikes it is more like every 4 to 5 sec a real heavy load of approx 2 to 3 sec.
When I kill the TwonkyMediaServer process (in the task manager) the system gets back to normal. I think this is a clear sign what is the source of the load.
What about logging, is there a way to get more information out of the system?
