Twonky Media 4.4 - Firefox

Post by Pseudo-Ops » Sat Sep 08, 2007 12:43 pm

Hi,

I'm a new user of Twonky 4.4 and have just got the free 30 day trial at the moment and very impressed so far.
With the latest version 4.4 I am having a problem tho. After going in on the web setup page i.e http://###.###.###.###:9000/configpage/index.html obviously no key yet but everytime I try and access anything on the menu on the left firefox goes to a blank white screen and locks up.

Is there an issue with firefox and this version of Twonky ? Or to access anything do I need to register ? Or is there any recomended solutions to this problem ?

Thanks

Hi,

I have no problems in Firfox. Where i have problems is with the webbrowse and IE.
The Icons on the left (Home and Up) are fixed in the left top corner...

It may be because of the registration where some features are limited.

Update:

I can now access the options on the left as i have registered. But still after a while the connection goes dead. I have Twonky installed on a Synology 407 NAS and running in conjuction with a PS3 and my laptop on a network.

Even when the Twonky config page dies on me the server is still working fine. Anyone got any ideas ??

Could it be page caching?

I use Opera web browser, and the web interface works fine. If you want to rule out Firefox give Opera a try.
