Hints on getting FLAC to WAVE working correctly

The documentation on the site is a little sparse on this so I hope that this might help a lttle

Be sure you have download a codec to decode FLAC so that the file can transcoded to wave. I found the best program to do this was FFMPEG. Google it, it should be easy to find and download.

The only stuff I enabled on it was what I needed which was the PCM and FLAC decoders.

You may also want to edit your virus software to disable live scaning on your 'Twonk' directory under programs or just disabled it depending on your risk to visrus. Or just schedule scans to happen when your not using the server.

My virus program was causing the flac files not to be completely played.

Hope that helps!

I'm still having a slight issue. The song will end early. But not all the time like it was when the antivirus was running. However at that point the time line never updates and time shows some really strange numbers (578945 min). I hit stop and start over and everythings OK. Anyway gonna try a few things and update this. Going try playing just some straight wave files. Maybe the Dlink 520 is actually having the issue.

OK, updated my network card drivers from the windows ones to the actual realtek (8139) ones and now everything works! Yea!
