Do you think it is possible to wireless stream video to a PS3.

I have encoded my video in different format for compatibility for the PS3.

I see this video on the PS 3, but i have drop out all 10 sec. Are there some settings or is there a way to see this video wireless without drop out, or have I to install a wired connection ?

Thanks for your answer.

I tested today a wired ethernet connection between my NAS and the PS3. I have already the same drop off by video playing. My problem seems not come from the wireless connection.

These video are read without problem via my wireless network on PC computers (without using Twoncky media).

Is my NAS (Synology DS 107) not powerful enough to run Twonkymedia with video ?

Any Idea

Thanks

I progress in my research.

When using the twonky, my transfer rates are limited to 103 kb/s. When I acces to my NAS without passing the twonky server, my rates are near 5000 kb/s.

Any idea why the twonky slow down my transfer rates ?

My problem was resolved by dowloading the last version of Twonky (4.4.3.1)

Now it works fine. It is possible to stream DivX to the PS3 without freezing...

My experience is that the wireless link in my home (reporting 75% strength on the PS3) would only support actual video data rates up to about 3.5Mbps without stuttering.

I just put a wired connection between the router and the PS3 - up to 9Mbps without stuttering now.
