M4A Support

Post by verkamman » Fri Nov 09, 2007 3:23 pm

I'm running TwonkyVision V4.4.4 on a NAS server (Qnap TS-209) connected to a Philips media player SLA5520. Everything is working fine apart from the fact that the the Media Player doesn't play my files with a M4A extension. According to the Twonkyvision support docs this should be supported.

Couldn't find anything related tot his issue on this forum or the internet. Would appreciate tips&tricks to resolve this issue.

Many thanks,
Oskar

I also have the same problem with QNAP ts-109, and all my .m4a don't seem to playable on my PS3 via Twonky Vision.

However the exactly same file on a USB pen drive inserted into the PS3 and play's fine.

Twonky 4.4 on ReadyNas won't play .m4a either

Same problem as what each of you have describes. All my .M4A files streamed through Twonky MediaServer 4.4 on my ReadyNAS won't play on my Roku Soundbridge. All other files like MP3 play just fine.
