Pause between .VOB files using Snazio DVD Net Cinema HD?

Post by hadlock » Thu Dec 06, 2007 3:57 pm

I'm using a Snazio HD1350 to stream video files to my TV and serving using Twonkyvision 4.4. I've been tinkering with using the native DVD format (multiple VOBs) instead of using DVDShrink to combine into a single .VOB file or reencoding to XVID/DVIX, etc.

Anyhow, when streaming VOB files there is a 3 to 5 second "pause" in the video as you move from one .VOB file to the next. I don't think this is a bug necessarily, but has anyone found a way to reduce / eliminate the pause? I was thinking of increasing the video buffer to see if that would help but I figured I'd ask first if anyone else has addressed this. Thanks!

Anyone? As an interim measure, I'm using DVDShrink to create a single .VOB file for the entire movie, but I'd rather play native DVD formats without pauses between the .VOB files...
