cgi-lame plugin on Maxtor Shared Storage

I have Twonky 4.4 installed on my Maxtor Shared Storage drive. The server starts up fine and I am able to view my photos with no issue.
I am also able to see all of my music, and have installed the cgi-lame plugin for playback on my DirectTV HR20. However, when I try to play a song, I get a message on my MSS telnet window saying "Starting cgi-lame...fails". Has anyone seen this before? Which version of the plugin should be used on the MSS?
