DRM Protected WMA files

I installed Twonky Media Server this afternoon and immediately it seemed I was able to see and play any songs from my collection on my Roku Soundbridge.

Then I tried a playlist, which started OK, but seemed to crash in the middle. I restarted the soundbridge and the server and since then I haven't been able to play DRM-protected WMA files downloaded from Napster. Is this right? If so, why was I able to play some of the same songs when I first fired up the server?

TwonkyMedia version : 4.4.2 Build date 2007-08-15
Operating System : Win XP Pro
Client(s) and their software version : Roku Soundbridge M1001 3.0.49
Type(s) of media you are having problems with : WMDRM .WMA music files
How many files you have in your database : about 7,000?
Network type (Wired/Wireless) : Wireless 802.11b

Cracking Windows DRM, iTunes m4p, Audiobooks...

Hi Guys,

I use SoundTaxi to remove the DRM from protected WMA, M4P & Audiobook files and then put the files on my NAS so I can stream them to my ROKU.

This works with wma files downloaded/purchased from Napster. It's great!

Unfortunately I don't think Twonky supports DRM'd files at the moment, I use to use Window Media Connect on my PC but it ground everything to a halt.

Regards,
