Hi,
I've been trying Twonky in combination with a JVC Sophisti DD3 and it seems to be going ok except for 1 thing. I can't get Twonky to stream divx/xvid to the DD3 where WMP 11 could.
I've tried updating codecs and upgrading to the beta version of twonky without luck. Also adding tags to the avi as I read on the forum did not help.
Could someone let me know what to tweak or to do twonky to make it stream avi?????
Thanks!

Just to add:
I can see the avi files through the webbrowser.
And I'm not using twonky as service under windows XP.
Anyone from twonky who knows this??

I've got the same problem; no avi / divx files are visible on my JVC Sophisti DD-3
I'm using a QNAP TS-209 Pro NAS with TwonkyVision MediaServer v4.4.4 RC1 on it.
I already tried changing the client type in Twonky configuration and rescanning the media files, but nothing seems to solve the issue.
JVC Sophisti DD-3 is an official DLNA 1.0 certified mediaplayer, so it has to work...

Hi,
don't know if it will help you cause I have installed Twonky on a Buffalo TeraStation. But with the same problem of unvisible DivX and Avi files.
Please look here for my solution:
http://www.twonkyforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=4714 (note: you have to look for the entries for your clients not for my Ziova Player

)
My be it helps.
Instead of deleting this entry "MT:avi, divx video/avi" complete, you can also try this correction: "MT:avi, divx video/x-msvideo".
There are 2 ways to edit the clients.db
- - edit it directly (via telnet access) on your NAS
- edit the Twonky setup files before installation
Hope this will help you
Cheers

Hi FHSalute,
Unfortunately your solution isn't working.
In fact there is no "MT:avi, divx video/avi" entry in the DLNA 1.0 device section
(it's recommended to use the DLNA 1.0 client in TwonkyVision for the JVC Sophisti).
I really hope there's a solution to this problem...
