is streaming mkv over HTTP any different from streaming wmv?
dont think so, try and rename a mkv file to wmv and if you player can handle mkv it will work.
if you requier twonky to transcode mkv to a format your player can handle, you are indeed at the mercy of people who say things like "never" an "go fish"
