problem with adding files

hey everyone.
i used my 30 day trial and everything was working perfectly. after i purchased the program i have had nothing but problems.
i use 3 folder, video being one of them. when i add a new folder in the video folder, obviously with a video file in it, well it doesnt show up. i rescan directories. restart server and nothing. i have my rescan for content option set for -1 and it also seems to change to 60 every so often. not sure why. i need this fixed asap. it is bugging the heck out of me. not sure what the issue is.
another problem is that when i add a H264 or whatever it is called it doesnt want to play. i downloaded the divx codec for the 360 so those work. but it seems that i can seem to download anything else. i cant see an iso, vob, .h264 or anything other than divx. why? whats going on here?? please help!!!
