New user: codecs? Album art? Playlists?

I just installed Twonky 4.4.4i in XP Pro yesterday to serve media to my PlayStation 3. It mostly works. I have some questions though, that I can't find answers to in the non-existent help file, the so-called FAQ, nor by searching the forums:

1: I have iTunes, and the install for Twonky said that Twonky can import/use my iTunes database and I think this is also supposed to support the Smart Playlists that iTunes self-maintains, yet they're not showing up in Twonky.

2: When browsing my mp3 collection from the PS3 via Twonky, I see what appears to be album art next to the track names, but when I play the music, where it looks like album art goes, all I see is a musical note. Is this Twonky not sending the art, or is this the PS3?

3: I have a video file in avi format, and when I try to play it via Twonky, it's listed as an unknown or unsupported data type, yet if I play it on the PS3 via a directly connected USB drive, I can watch it. I'm guessing that Twonky doesn't actually support AVI files, so what codec do I need and where to install it? For that matter, what video formats are supported?
