Twonky 4.4.5 on Linux, iTunes playlists

Post by t_al » Sat Jun 28, 2008 12:23 pm

Moin,
I've successfully installed Twonky 4.4.5 on Ubuntu 8.04. It's running fine but I can't import any of my iTunes playlists. I copied alle mp3s the iTunes-xml file on the linux-device and changed the paths in the xml -file. I import the file using the web-interface but I won't see any of my playlists. Any suggestens?
bye, Thomas

I tried installing Media Monkey on PC. Then add existing songs located on the NAS to a playlist or export the playlist as .m3u.
It will appear in the same sub folder on the NAS and should appear on your upnp client if youv rescan for songs.
It's a workaround. and perhaps there's an better/easier way but i don't know.

The way to export alle iTunes playlists as .m3u is the way that worked for me. Thans for your help.
