I have a problem streaming classical music MP3s with Twonky which is not apparent or significant with pop music but has come to light now I have started ripping my classical collection to Qnap NAS device for streaming to network.
I have ripped my CDs using KAudioCreator and encoded to MP3 with Lame.
The problem occurs with tracks which are named and numbered separately on classical CDs but where there is no break in the music when played normally. At transitions between numbered tracks where the music should be continuous and plays correctly from CD, a break is introduced when playing through Twonky etc.
I am not sure of the source of the break but do not think it is a Twonky issue, more likely the ripping & encoding process, but am posting here in the hope that others may have come across and solved this issue.
