Hi Folks,

Installed TwonkyMedia 4.4.6 on Linux FC 5. When in the admin page under :

Basic Setup -> Clients/Security -> username, password

Entering the username and password, then save and restart server does not seem to work. Also tried editing the twonkyvision-mediaserver.ini under /usr/local/TwonkyVision, the varible accessuser and accesspwd does not seem to take as well.

#! TwonkyVision ini file / charset UTF-16
#! change settings by commandline or by editing this file
#! version 4.4.6
[main]
# accessuser
accessuser=

# accesspwd
accesspwd=

Hint : accesspwd needs to be stored in a cryptic format and clear text, maybe a hash (MD5 or SHA) say.

looking forward to any feedback.

thx,
daya
