Hi,

I have been using Twonkymedia for a long time with no problems. My PS3 and my netgear MP101 both work perfectly with it.

But now, when I launch the program from my browser, I get this message:

I get this message when I open the browser:

Failed to Connect

The connection was refused when attempting to contact IPADDRESS:9001.
Though the site seems valid, the browser was unable to establish a connection.

I have sent to emails to support@twonkymedia but they are not answering me. Please can someone help me with this as I really miss my Twonky!

Many thanks

Lee

Hi from France,

I've got the same problem when I try to configure TwonkyMedia 5.0.40 (trial version) on Mac OS 10.5.6: "Failed to Connect. The connection was refused when attempting to contact localhost:9000. Though the site seems valid, Camino was unable to establish a connection. * Could the site be temporarily unavailable? Try again later...".

Can somebody help me?

Thanks.

Gerard

I got same problem on my iMAC with MacOS 10.5.6. In another tread I read the suggestion to install a prevous version 4.x, but it sound strange that the new version 5.x is not working on MacOS.

TwonkyMedia Server Version 4.4.6 starts on my iMAC with Mac OS 10.5.6, but asks to restard to apply changes.

After restarting, changes have not been saved, and TwonkyMedia Server doesn't work using basic Setup.

If somebody can make it works, please tell details about setup.

I have the same problem with the latest version 5.1.2. Did anyone ever find a solution to this one?

Hi
I had the same problem!
Installed version 4.4.18 and this works fine except it does not seem to handle playlists as in V5.

Hope they will fix version 5 soon for mac.
