Itunes playlist on Twonky 4.4.x

One of my main reason for owning Twonky was itunes serving, but i can never get it stable. One version fixes one thing but breaks another.
I am now running itunes 7.6.1 and twonky 4.4.7.

i selected the itunes library.xml file and selected the music folder of where the mp3's are located.

However, i cannot get the itunes playlist to show up on a consistent basis. Sometimes it will show a few playlists, and most of the time, none at all.

i have read it takes a while, but I have waited 12-24 hours and still no playlists.

Interestingly, if i switch from itunes library.xml to itunes library.itl and then back to the xml, that's when i get all of my playlists right away, but seconds later they disappear or partially disappear.

Which version of twonky are you consistently getting itunes playlist to show?

btw, all of the itunes music files do show up when you go through artist, albums,etc. just no playlists.

I want to try an older version of twonky. any know where i can find 4.4.1?

edit: found a 4.4 beta version and installed it. itunes playlists shows up! almost right away! I have heard 4.4.2 is when it starts to not work, that's why i am looking for 4.4.1 (4.4 non-beta)
it's really funny how new versions break things that wasn't broken.

so many of these twonky and itunes threads have 0 responses. Has anybody gotten itunes to work with an updated version of twonky.
