Twonky and iTunes

I'm using Twonky 4.4.9 on WinXP Pro SP3. I'm also using iTunes to manage my media (no choice, I've got an iPhone). Ever since I had to upgrade iTunes from 7.x to the current version 8, Twonky has been unable to see my iTunes playlists. To be clear, this worked with iTunes v7.x, but broke with iTunes 8.x. In order to be able to sync my iPhone, I cannot revert to an older version of iTunes.
Does the current version of Twonky work with iTunes 8?
I do not want to waste my time upgrading the server if I can know in advance it won't work. But if it does, I'll download and upgrade immediately.
