After the latest PS3 firmware upgrade (2.60) and applying of TMS 4.4.11, I finally found I have all my media streaming requirements fulfilled (which is great!) except two things
1. the album arts for the mp3 are broken, no album arts are displayed, and when the mp3 are played there's a message pops up saying the content is not accessible. I'm not sure if the message is referring to the album art, but the mp3 files are played correctly by PS3..
2. 3gpp videos that are taken from my mobile phones are not playable. What'll be the alternative solution, i.e. software to re-encode it?
lastly, I am ready to purchase the license (after years of procastination due to the broken features and lacking of video support until recently). Can I buy one for my maxtor plus, and then few months time, use it on my new NAS which I intend to buy, or should I hold back until my new NAS purchase?
