Hi all,
I have been reading through the forum, but have not been able to figure out how to find the Shoutcast stations.
Do I enter the ip number of the media server?
Twonky is running on my LaCie Network Space. I don't have access to the filesystem, only to the web configuration pages.
Thanks.

Re: How to access Shoutcast stations?
Hi,
I had the same problem, as Twonky seems to have problems accessing the Shoutcast servers from time to time, resulting in a loss of all Shoutcast stations. So I didn't care about how to access the automatically generated list (as it often carried broken links), instead I wanted to control it manually.
Now, here's what to do:
1) Open Noteopad (or annother editor of your choice) and create a new plain text file called "My Internet Radio.m3u"
2) Key in the radio stations of your choice, following this example:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1,DIGITALLY - IMPORTED - Progressive - house, techno, and trance beats for your mind!
http://scfire-ntc-aa07.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1026
#EXTINF:-1,DIGITALLY - IMPORTED - European Trance, Techno, Hi-NRG... we can't define it!
http://scfire-ntc-aa09.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1003
#EXTINF:-1,.977 The 80s Channel
http://scfire-dtc-aa04.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1040
#EXTINF:-1,.977 The Hitz Channel
http://scfire-mtc-aa01.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1074
#EXTINF:-1,80's 90's heavy metal hair arena rock and new rock
http://208.53.138.68:8418
and so on....
3) Save the file and start a rescan.
4) Connect your streaming device and navigate to the INTERNET RADIO section. You should find "My Internet Radio" within. Open it and select a radio station. Click "play" and enjoy.
I've chosen to deselect all Genres under Shoutcast in the Webinterface, so I have only my own list. It works quite a while now
Kind regards
Frank

Re: How to access Shoutcast stations?
Thanks for your reply.
Now I am confused, what exactly does the Shoutcast feature on the LaCie NetworkSpace do?
Does it create a Shoutcast radio station from my music that is stored on the NAS, or does it connect to Shoutcast servers and pull channels from there ?

Connects to Shoutcast channels and pulls streams from there.

I made the m3u file per your sample and it worked perfectly with Media Player.
I saved the m3u file in the same folder as all my other music but the PS3 doesn't see it. I have rescaned repeatedly and nothing. Where should the file be saved to so that the PS3 can find it? Are you using a PS3?
