Sony WA1 issues

Hi,
I used to run the TwonkyVision Version 4.4.6 on my linux box running a standard vanilla SUSE 11.0 distribution (32bit).
There were no issues to connect with my Sony WA1 to the server and it worked right of the box.
Now, I upgraded to version 5.0.46 paid my $20 and voila my Sony WA1 can see the server, but fails to connect to it
I tried the manual client setup by entering the MAC address etc. Didn't work.
So, what could I try next. Are there any manuals for the Linux server (5.0.46).
