Performance Problem with UPNP streaming to NMT Popcorn Hour?

Good afternoon,

I am running the TwonkyMedia Server v5.0.46 on my Fujitsu Siemens Windows Homeserver device and streaming to a NMT Popcorn Hour A-100. Now this works perfectly fine like 95% of the time, but for some reason every half an hour or so the video freezes and I have to stop and resume from that position. It would continue automatically .. as in.. after 30 secs or so it all of a sudden fast forwards and continues to play from there then normally.. stop/resuming is just faster and less interruptive for the movie watching experience ;) Any way, this only happens via Twonky Server / UPNP... doing it via NFS/SMB works flawlessly fine -all- the time.

Now I was wondering whether there are any known issues with this combination and/or large files (as in 1.2gb/4.x or 10.x gb files)?

Cheers & thanks,
-J

I'm having the same issue with Twonkyserver 5 on Windows XP (Barebone PC with 1,8 Ghz Celeron). Streaming client is PS3.

Playback stop comes after a hour or so. Overlenghted video files (120 min+) may stop more than one time.

Until a fix will a arrive i have switched back to 4.4.11 which works perfectly.

Do you know whether 4.x supports matrovska / .mlv files? Last time I checked they didn't show up when browsing the upnp server....
