TMServer 5.0 restarts every few seconds

Hi,
I have Twonky Media Server 5.0.46 20090114 running on a CentOS VM.
I had the problem that the configuration Website would never load completely and looking some more, I found that Twonky Server is constantly restarting every few seconds (new PID all the time).
I am attaching the logfile (which got quite large as I switched on all logging), I read through it but couldn't find any obvious errors.
From what I see, the server just disappears and restarts 10 seconds after having scanned /native/lib, although I have no clue, why this should be a problem (as well as I don't know why it would even scan that directory).
15:55:49:013 LOG_SCAN: scanned /native/lib
### seems to crash here ###
15:55:59:811 LOG_SYSTEM:cmdparam -v
15:55:59:812 LOG_SYSTEM:NO TRANSLATION FOR accessuser
[...]
15:55:59:814 LOG_SYSTEM:NO TRANSLATION FOR mediastatisticsdir
15:55:59:814 LOG_SYSTEM: TwonkyMedia Version 5.0.40 Dec 18 2008 started
Any help would be greatly apreciated, I was planning to buy a license for Twonky - that is only if I get it to work of course.
Best regards,
-bastian
