We're now using Facebook and Twitter to announce updates

Twonky is now on Facebook and Twitter. If you'd like to be the first to learn more about upcoming releases of TwonkyServer or TwonkyManager or our mobile software this is the best way to do it.

To find us on Facebook, go to http://www.facebook.com/Twonky

Become a fan of Twonky to get updates and things like video tutorials. We just recently posted several videos from CES where you can see TwonkyMedia manager in action in a typical home. In the next few weeks, you'll see another six or more "How-to" videos.

We've also have began “tweeting” on Twitter. Twitter is a platform for us to give you brief updates on new product releases, product updates and more. Follow us on Twitter here: http://www.twitter.com/twonky

Please show your support for Twonky products by becoming a fan on both of these sites. Thanks.

Just to also mention, that there is a RSS Feed of the Twitter stuff.

Most new browsers should show the RSS feed: http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/33704452.rss
Please note: Moderators here are voluntary and do not work for PacketVideo or Twonky, please do not attack us. Any posts are personal opinion, and may not be those of PV/Twonky.

If you subscribed to our new Twitter feed, you'd already know that yesterday the new PhotoBucket, PicassaWeb and SHOUTcast media feeds went live. :)

You can view of these in TwonkyMedia manager 1.1 under Folder view.

If you subscribed to our TwonkyMedia Twitter feed or were added as a Facebook friend, you would have been informed there is a new build of TwonkyMedia server available for download. It's version v5.0.65 and you can find it here:

To disable chat on Facebook, click on the Chat popup in the lower right-hand corner of the browser window. Then click on Options and select Go Offline from the pop-up menu.

I am so glad to learn that you guys have now shifted to Twitter and Facebook so as to keep yourself updated. I think it was a brilliant move since most of the users are engulfed in either of these social networking sites. So what better way to stay updated?  Also good to see you guys post video tutorials.
