Upgrade to 5.x on NAS (pre-installed Twonky)

Hi,
I have been searching the forums for any answer on this but cannot seem to find one. I recently bought the Western Digital My Book World Edition 1Tb (white light). It came with TwonkyServer 4.4.9w and I would like to upgrade to the 5.x version as it supports transcoding.
Is this at all possible? How would I install the upgrade?
Thanks in advance

I don't think a NAS would be too suitable for transcoding, as it's got limited resources. Transcoding is hugely processor and memory intensive..
There are benefits in TMS5 (media feeds for example), but I would't hold out hopes of transcoding as being one of them for a NAS.

This is the answer I just got from Western Digital:
Thank you for contacting Western Digital Customer Service and Support.
"Twonky Media Server which is a built in function of the My Book World (White Light) can only be updated via the firmware update of the My Book World (White Light). If you have the latest firmware, which as far I'm aware still uses version 4.4.9 of Twonky Media you will have to wait for a new firmware update."
