Using PlugPlayer with TwonkyMedia Server

Post by zorgh » Sun May 31, 2009 8:06 pm

Hi,

I am trying to use plugplayer (v.2.2.0) on iphone with TwonkyMedia server.
I succeed to display artists/albums.
Thus, I get this message when I'm trying to play a song :

Error 1/19 - (null)

It only occurs with a space in the filename, one solution is to rename your files to use "_" instead of " ". However I don't want to rename the files using "_" instead of " ".
UPnP Media Server reads the contents music from the shared SMB hard drive on my network.
TwonkyMediaServer run on an amd-64-bit Linux machine.

On the other hand when I use a music player (Philips NP2900) or an integrated music management application like Rhythmbox to listen to my music, it works very well.

This is the answer from PlugPlayer support :
you might want to contact Twonky and ask them to properly encode the space character.
How can I fix it ?
How can I debug ?

Sorry for my english language, I'm french.

Thx so much.

Zorgh
