TwonkyMedia on WD WorldBook Network Drive

I recently purchased a WD WorldBook Network drive and a D-Link DSM-520 media receiver. The hard drive came with TwonkyMedia server software, but it is not very user friendly. The DSM-520 shows the Network drive, but I can't get the Twonky Sharing tab to locate anything on the network drive. I have tried browsing for it but the rescan directory does nothing. Does anyone have experience setting one of these up?

I did search the forums but the posts deal with issues prior to the network drives coming preinstalled with Twonky.

OK I think I have it figured out. The Networked Hard disk has drives: share public, share download, and my other external hard disk which is plugged into the network drive (share usb1-share1). TwonkyMedia 4.4.9w under the sharing tab has 3 defaulted content locations

/shared video
/shared music
/shared pictures

This is pointing to the Public Share (\\mybookworld/share public/shared video.

My question is how do I get the content directory to look in the share download, and share usb1-share1 location? I transfered a movie from share download to the shared video and it took about 15 min. This doesn't make sense; the file was located on the same physical disk!

Am I missing something?

Have you copied the files with the twonky frowser interface (Port 9000)?

It took so long because data is transfered over a NAS path which is not really fast.

Fortunatel you can access the Operating System on the Storage through ssh or telnet. Once, logged in, you can copy and move files with the full speed of the hard disk.
