Imac and Avanti communications
Hello, has anyone got the Avanti Flow media centre and an iMac to work. The twonky server is very very slow and when it does work it judders the music, why is this so difficult I have never come across something so difficult to set up on a mac. thanks Chris (frustrated)

You need to post more info before anyone can really help out. Many many people use the Mac builds of Twonkymedia (AKA "Flowserver"), so it's doubtful there is some inherent problem. Make sure your network is fast enough to handle the media you are streaming, and make sure any firewall ports are open.
Better ask in the Mac forum for mac specific advise.
It looks like the Pure devices come with 4.4.9 TwonkyMedia server, with Pure branding. I'm not sure if your your license key allows it to register a regular Twonkymedia server install. It might be worth a shot.

Even if it doesn't it will give you a 30 day trial of it, to evaluate it to see if it fixes the problems. If it does, then it's time to nudge Pure into providing updated builds... I know for a fact that 4.4.17 is a VERY solid build, so if you still have problems, then it's likely not the server, its and external factor.
