Hi,
since TMS 4.4 serves me well but lacks some great features of 5.1 (which is not usable for my Roku Soundbridge and PS3) I asked myself why not running the in parallel on the same PC (Linux).
Is this possible? And if yes what do I have to do (changing ports would suffice)?
TIA

I did just that a couple of times with the 5.1 betas/RC on a Linkstation Pro (!). Just keep them in different dirs and the ports separate. What could be an issue is the log file in /tmp.
Due to the very limited ressources of the NAS I never really did any prolonged testing, as the linkstation immediatly starts swapping and becomes really slow - the cpu hunger of the earlier 5.1 versions certainly didn't help.
