HELP!! "TwonkyMedia has exceeded maximum available memory"

I'm running TwonkyMedia Server v.4.4.11 on a D-Link DNS-323 (firmware 1.07) and I get the following message: Huh Huh Huh Huh

Server type: TwonkyMedia
Used memory: 15000 KB
Maximum memory available for the server: 15000
The maximum available memory is exceeded. Not all content can be served!

Configuration file at: /mnt/HD_a2/twonky/twonkyvision-mediaserver.ini
Last database change: 23:02:04

Content
Music tracks: 11012

Can anyone help me to resolve this issue? Or, Do I have to update to Twonky v5.1 ?

Thanks!

Use the RPC call functionality from a web browser:

http://<your_ip>:9000/rpc/get_option?maxmem

should return the current value as displayed on Server Status config page. Then use

http://<your_ip>:9000/rpc/set_option?maxmem=XXXXXXXX

to set the value to what you want (replace the XXXXXXXXs with your value).

This should work for all config options.

Thanks.

I tested the instructions, but I got the following error "PROPERTY NOT FOUND!"

Yesterday, I installed the version 5.1 .. but now the discs are running at 100% sometimes !! I can't get more memory yet.

Have you tried 4.4.18? That's what I am using on a Buffalo LS Pro - it seems a much better version for use on a NAS.

Can you not see the maxmem value on the status config page? Mine is set to 40000. Perhaps the maxmem property came in after 4.4.11 - though I amsure i was there when I used 4.4.6.

Already I made a couple of actions:

- I followed the instructions posted here = http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic ... 9#msg43549
- Update manually the .ini file. For any reason (I don't know why), I couldn't update the .ini file through the webpage.

Now, the Twonky is rebuilding the database. I expect to validate the service to night.

Plan B = Install 4.4.18.

Later I will let you know my experience.

Well... Finally, I returned to 4.4.18... The 5.1 looks as a nice version, but I have a lot of problems with my PS3, so I decided to install 4.4.18.

And, I just increased the max. memory from the INI file.
