Hi, got one of these wireless photoframes free with a laptop. It came with Sony server software, but I wanted to serve content from my Linux PC, using TwonkyMedia 5.1

Anyhow, it seems there is no entry in the database for this device, and the default it assigns it is not too good. So I "hacked" the clients.db and added an entry that seems to work well for photos and music.

Code: Select all

>>
NA:Sony VGF-CP1 frame
HH:Digital Photo Frame
HP:chunked
DV:byfolder
XM:DLNA10
XM:NOTRPICS
Obviously my entry is based on tinkering logic, rather than fully understanding what all the entries in the clients.db actually do, I'll request getting this device added, but in the meantime if you have one of these frames, these should work.
