i have the same problem like roland_I, using german WHS on my belinea o.center.
I installed Twonky Add-in and my Server Console is DEAD!!!!!!!!!! i am really upset !

what is so difficult in testing software that should work as an add-in for whs !?

additionally it uses hardcoded paths in ini-file which does not exist on my machine (not everybody is using an english OS, guys..)

I can not believe it !! this is the first add-in i payed for because i thought twonky is doing software you can trust in. 10€ wasted and a dead homeserver console !!

I am running TMS5.1.1 on my German WHS (Powerpack 3 installed, all updates) on my belinea o.center.

Twonky Add-in is reponsive (well, one it indexed all media), server console is working and my UPnP clients are playing as they should.

I have the same problem as Jensemann.
My System:
- Acer H340
- All Updates, latest Powerpack
- installed Addins:
-- WHS File Manager
-- Advanced Admin Console
-- Update History
-- Windows Home Server Datenträger-Verwaltung

dear guys at twonky,
take a look at Tversity oder Asset Upnp how a upnp server *should* work..

I was able to unistall Twonky and my WHS. every click takes a few minutes.
I will never install it again. For me twonky for WHS is a no-go.

I dont care if it is not responsive once it is ready with indexing, we are talking about a sw for a server environment where absolutely nothing should stop the server istself from being usable (in this case the WHS console).

Have you tried the 5.1.1 version for WHS from here?

I am sorry to report that the WHS addin broke my WHS console as well. If I launch the WHS Console inside WIN7, I must click SKIP twonkymedia console tab, before the WHS console will launch.
I am running WHS PP3 and my Desktop is Win7 HP. Both worked fine together until I installed a licensed copy of Twonky 5.1 WHS addin. I am disappointed to say the least.
Please advise when an corrected version is available.

So far, and it may change, v. 5.1.2 is working. My console opened without a problem twice.

i cant complain either. twonky take some time at start to do the indexing, but then its fine.
my intial problems (even before twonky) with a unresponsive whs console dissapeared after upgrading the cpu.
maybe an atom is a bit weak?

I just discussed this issue with the Product Manager for TMS. She is aware of this issue and we're trying to see what can be done about it. I just wanted to let everyone know that we're aware of this. Thanks.
