Hi,
Just wondering if there is anyway to stop the music folder appearing under the photo section on my ps3 or sony bravia dlna players when I stream media to them.
It also acts the same way, photo folder appears under the music section.
I think maybe it's a DLNA thing and unchangable, but thought I'd ask.
Cheers
Danny

Apparently it's a Sony problem, it does not send any hints on the type of media that needs to be filtered, so Twonky can only send the entire tree.
It's rather annoying I know, but I wouldn't hold your breath for a quick fix for it...

Arr right.
Cheers for the heads up.

It's not just Sony - my Samsung B650 does the same. It has a Music, Photos, Movies top-level structure but the Twonky Music, Photos, Videos structure appears under each leg.
I thought PV had made a change for Sonys where the Twonky top-level structure wasn't shown?

Re: Music Folder appears in Photos section on any DLNA player.
Surely, this was just a bit untidy as all the folders were visible under both Music, Photo and Video on my Bravia TV.
It seems that after upgrading to server ver. 5.1.3, these folders are not visible anywhere.
Now I get all Photo folders and Photo menu items under Music label in Xross Menu Bar, and no other.
In the same way, All Music folders are visible under the Photo label in Xross Menu Bar.
This means, I have no compatible media under Music, only Photos, and no compatible media under Photos, only music.
How can this be corrected?
