5.12 Mac database building problem, audio dropouts PS3

Post by kgnos » Sun Jan 17, 2010 10:05 pm

Hi,

I have two problems. I updated my media server to 5.12. Now it doesn't read in, it gets somwhere stopped when reading the audio files, no itunes playlists, no pictures, no videos.

I checked the logfile, and there are many similar lines:
20:46:44:298 views_add_or_update_object(*ppObject,pOldObject) failed
File: ../../../server/common/upnp_database_items.c
Function: upnp_database_item_add_or_update_impl1
Line: 209

I tried to rebuild the database, restart the server, read the media in again several times, to no avail.

I had this working in earlier versions...

The second problem may be PS3-related. For a long time, I could stream audio and video wireless without any problem, but since half a year or a year audio (mp3, aac, wav etc.) will play back, but with small dropouts every thirty seconds or minute. Any solution?

Thanks

Kurt
