Twonky 5.1 and Popcorn Hour C-200

Post by KidKappa » Tue Jan 19, 2010 12:00 pm

Hello, I just hooked up my new Popcorn Hour C-200 and am having troubles. I can select the Twonky server and view all the right files but none of the videos/music play, the photos show up oddly enough. I can play the files directly off a usb thumb drive but not streaming. I noticed that the files that show up under twonky don't have their file extensions ex) movie.mkv or movie.avi, would this have anything to do with it? Is there anything special I need to do to get this working, and has anybody successfully streamed with twonky to a C-200? thanks.

I use twonky with a popcorn hour A-110 - check Your media receivers settings in the menue of the server. The autodetection is not working - I have set it to "Syabas Firmware based" and streaming works well with divx and xvid avi files. Pictures I have not checked.

I have same problem. My PCH C-200 doesn't play any video file from the Twonky server (5.1.2), always get an error: "Could not play"! I already checked the receiver settings, it was correct: "Syabas firmware based". Otherwise the PCH can play all the files via SAMBA connection.

I already contacted with Twonky support, but I can't get any reasonable help.

Can anyone help me to solve this issue?

I had same issue on C-200, check "Network Settings" from Setup menu. I fixed 10/100 speed and it started streaming. My network cable is long and probably didn't do 1GB flawlessly, messing up C-200.

I gave up and moved over to MyiHome server. Twonky isn't compatible with Popcorn Hour C-200. Looking videos is OK, but music is issue. Pushes only one track, doesn't play album.
