Server Does not rebuild database
Version 5.1.2 running on a Power Mac.
It starts and then runs the CPU and memory at really high levels but does not seem to add any files. Rescanning the directories, restarting the server or any other maintenance actions have no effect. Logging does not look as though I can start it and I've tried to reinstall it as best I could but it makes no difference.
Please can someone advise on some next steps, maybe a command to strip everything out and reinstall it fresh.
Thanks,
Will

TwonkyMedia Server 5.0.68
Re: Server Does not rebuild database
I tried 5.1.2 after having problems with 5.0.68 and can say I had the same problems as you (mine's on a Win7 client though). Went back to 5.0.68, which seems to have fewer issues, but still can't get it working 100%.
Re: Server Does not rebuild database
Where did you get 5.0.68? I have 5.1.2 and it doesn't display any of my media.
I've sent the log files to twonky support, but without resolution. The log files show that the server is finding the files, but then it doesn't actually list them in the display.

Re: Server Does not rebuild database
This doesn't sound promising. I can't get the log files so I really need some form of uninstall script.
Anyone?

Re: Server Does not rebuild database
I have the same issue. I have added files to a certain folder, but on my PS3, it's showing files that existed there ages ago, but not my new ones... Rebuild, refresh, Restart.. nothing, It insists on showing files I had there a while back... Hopefully this can be resolved...

That's good to know.
Where did you find: " /var/twonkymedia"?

The folder is created when you start TMS on linux.nathan_h wrote:That's good to know.

Ah, okay. That might explain why I cannot find it in Win7!
