Hello, Im using the TwonkyMedia Server 5.1.2
and i want to have access via internet to the twonky media server (not only in my local network, for example i want to hear my music on the PC of my friend)

So, I have the following Port in my Router: TCP: 9000 9100 UDP: 1080, 1900 and 9080

So, In the browser of my friend, i connect with: http://my.personal.dyndns.org:9000 or http://my.personal.dyndns.org:9100 and i see the the "media-browser" of the twonky-Server. When i click on the my "released Music Directory" i got an error "Cant find xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9000/webbrowse or :9100/webbrowse ( BUT the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is my local-network IP, NOT the dyndns.org-name)

So what can i do, that the webbrowser connects to the internet dyndns-name and not to the local-network-IP.

Many Thanks, bogomil22 from Germany

So, Hello,

now i have editing the twonky-mediaserver.ini i have a connection with FIREFOX, not with IE.

But the Problem is, that i must first download the file and after that i can hear the music, but i want to stream the music, that it downloads and streams at the same time, so that i dont must wait for a so long time.

Our next TwonkyServer release, 6.1, will have much better remote access support than we have today. It will use a Flash player to playback music without having to download it. It will also be easier to configure and won't require things like DYNDNS. We'll be posting an early Beta for this in the next few weeks here in the Beta section of the forum.
