Challenges with being able to browse media

Post by spdntckt » Mon Mar 08, 2010 9:45 am

Hi there, i am currently running media server 5.1.3 on OSX Snow Leopard on a Mac Pro system. I am experiencing a problem where i cannot seem to get the server to scan and provide access to media files (I see nothing when i try to browse). I configured the directories under 'sharing' --> The content directory is correct and i made sure the enable button is checked. The directory has about 200 30G .m2ts files in it. I know these files to be good as i can play them in VLC just fine. However when i go to the media browser nothing shows up.

Where is the database located ?( i could not find it thought of tryign to delete it manually).. i tried rescanning the data base, rebuilding, and even resetting the computer with no avail.

any thoughts?/help?
