Humax & Playstation 3 .TS file streaming

Hi,
I'd like to be able to Stream videos that I've recorded using a Humax Foxsat HDR to a Playstation 3 (PS3), the format used is MPEG-2 TS. However these items show up as "Unsupported Data", does anyone know a neat way of getting around this.
I'm using Twonky Media Server version 5.1.3 and the PS3 is running the latest Firmware 3.21.
I understand that the .TS file is itself a container, however I can play this format using Windows Media Player without any issues - I was hoping that this would work seamlessly
Interestingly the file cannot be played from a USB device, however I thought Twonky Media server was smart enough to convert to a format usable by the PS3.
Any ideas
Cheers,
J.
