I did bought an Philips TV 42PFL9664H (Philips: http://bit.ly/9zlHBm) because it has a network connection and a media player "inside".
In the manual (Pdf: http://bit.ly/9GfnbY) they write that the Twonky Media Server is supported/recommended under Windows AND Mac OS X. So I did buy this software and the TV. Im running Twonky Media Server under Mac OS X Server, on a Mac Mini.
I'm trying to play movies, which I have converted with handbrake. But I normally get no picture and no sound. Sometimes I get sound only, but till now I got never picture. The movies are shown up in the list of available movies (on TV menu). I can choose them and start them, but they won't be played correctly.
The Philips support has no idea, A while ago I have asked "twonky" over twitter, but did not get any reply, so I'm asking here... What could be the reason for this and how could I get it fixed, so that I can finally watch my movies?
Would be really great, if someone could help me.
