By folder doesn't sort like it used to

After upgrading my QNAP TS119 to the latest Firmware I got Twonky Server updated from 4 to 5.1.4 - "Hooray!" I thought - but not for long. [Edit2: just confirmed, it's the same with the standalone 5.1.3 so i think it's located fine here [/Edit]
I found the navigation node system, which I liked very much, was replaced by a very restricted option of 4 choices, not only this, but even none of those 4 works good for me:
I have my collection in T9 like folders ("0+, 2 ABC, 3 DEF ...) with a 2 digit Track number in brackets at the start of each song file name. This helps quick browsing a large collection. Now whether I choose "by folder" or "advanced default" to navigate doesn't make a difference: the track sequence does not follow neither the filenames (which could be expected when choosing a file based structure) nor the track numbers (which would also be logical) but sorts the songs in alphabetical order of the embedded metadata (aka tags) - now, THIS is the most senseless way I could think of and I do not see anyone wanting this. Is there a chance to get the old navigation node system back or if not then at least fix this to a more useful way? Thanks...
