Above link was posted by user zuz242 in "5.1.whatever for WHS...When is this app going to get love?" http://www.twonkyforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8004 thread. I waited for a while for the link to show up in official places, but is has not as now, so I am posting it.

Hope this helps all those struggling and frustrated with previous builds.

Anyone having problems with 5.1.4 not starting again after a reboot?

I uninstalled 5.1.3, installed 5.1.4, and it worked flawless until last night when the PC rebooted for Windows updates. Now it won't start again. When you check the tray icon, "auto start server" is checked, and you can click on "start server". Doing so doesn't do anything.

5.1.4 did fix a lot of the little quirks 5.1.3 had.

Just wondering if it was something with my installation, or a know issue.

This is not a known issue that I'm aware of. Is anyone else having this same problem?

@ Rick,

I would love to test 5.1.4 for you, but HP still hasn't updated my MSS from 5.1.1 :(

Last night I had some time so I thought I'd re-try this issue. I installed 6.0 beta instead.

It does the same thing. It functions perfectly until the PC reboots. Then the tray icon is greyed out, server settings is greyed out. If you click "start server", then it just sits there (doesn't actually start). You can then click "terminate server" and the same thing.

So to clarify:
5.1.3 no issues
5.1.4 server won't start after boot
6.0 server won't start after boot

I'm running it on Windows Server 2008 x64 (so Vista x64 based). If you need more info, let me know.
