Sony KDL40W-5800 and Twonky Media Server 5

Hi all,
I am using a new Sony KDL40W-5800 television with a Twonky Media Server 5 on Linux Fedora 12. It works pretty well, m2ts files are sent to the tv and played really nice.
Yet, normal mpeg files are not sent. They are found by Twonky but won't show up in the media list on the television.
Is there some kind of a solution to make this work? On Twonky Media Server 4, mpeg files did show up, but could not really be played.
