My lacie lacinema had TwonkyMedia Server bundled on the installation CD. However, there is no sign of the registration key anywhere on the CD, documentation or even packaging.

Any ideas where it should be?

it should be on the dc jacket in the back

Try typing http://<<your-ip:your-port>>/rpc/get_option?cdkey into your browser and see what is returned.
