One thing to try when no media seen when using TwonkyServer

TwonkyServer advertises itself on the network with a local loopback address of 127.0.0.1. This causes problems with some control points. For example, Kinsky desktop and other control points sometimes have difficulty finding TwonkyServer on the network. It appears that it is advertising itself as available on all IP interfaces it can find -- including the local loopback address 127.0.0.1. If the Control Point sees 127.0.0.1 first, then it connects to a media server on local loopback and no media is seen.

To prevent this, please add the following line to the Twonky configuration file.
disablelocalssdp=1

Note: This command only works with TwonkyServer 5.1.5 (and later) which is available here:

This will also work with TwonkyServer 6.0.1 which isn't out yet. Check back in the Beta section later for that.
