How can I tell if my videos are being transcoded?

Post by azurian75 » Thu Jun 17, 2010 11:58 am

I have a general question which I hope some knows the answer to.

I have enabled the transcoding feature insofar as I can select a video transcoding option of MPEG-2. However when I attempt to view videos on my PS3 I do not see anything but my .mp4 files which were already there.

Is there some visual evidence with the transcoding feature of Twonky that would let me know I am viewing transcoded files?

I am running Twonky Media Server v6 on Ubuntu 10.04 Server with FFMpeg pulled from the package library. I have restarted/rebuilt database numerous times...

It's been very difficult to find any kind of authoritative documentation concerning this feature.

Can anyone please help?
