Help panasonic txp42g20 server problems

Hope someone can help i have bought a panasonic txp42g20 plasma with media server and internet access,i have the television connected to a netgear wg834 via eithernet cable and i can access the internet with no problem but my problem is with the media server ,i have twonky installed but when in try to access the media through the television it comes on screen with MEDIA SERVER NOT FOUND thus not finding any media servers.
please help as i fear the tv may be faulty.
