Need help creating a "Title Index" in Advanced Navigation

Hi! I've been unable to locate a posting with this information, but I'm sure it's been addressed.
I'd like to modify "view-definitions.xml" or whatever files are needed to create a "Title Index" option on my D-Llink DSM-320 players when using Advanced Navigation.
I have already modified the file to correctly display tracks in track order when using the Folders view, so I feel comfortable editing this file.
It should work like the Artist Index does...displaying tracks grouped alphabetically by title under two or three letters. I can see in the view-definitions.xml file that this is probably accomplished using the "<container buildon='upnp:artist[3]' " coding for the Artist Index. But I don't understand how I can create something similar for titles. This used to be available in older versions, I believe.
Has anyone done this? Or can someone point me in the right direction?
This is TMS 6 running on an XP SP3 machine, with D-Link DSM-320 players.
