I have TwonkyServer installed on a WHS and a Kodak EX-811 which shows up in the Media Recievers section.
When I browse from the EX-811 to the folders on the WHS everything seems OK, but if I choose to view a picture I notice two things:
1. the jpeg has a slightly different name - i.e. an extra character at the end.
2. the jpeg displayed seems to be resized and as a result completely out of focus - just a blurry mess!
Is there a setting somewhere that tells the Server to do this?
Or have I missed something obvious?
Twonky 6.0 & Kodak EX-811
Re: Twonky 6.0 & Kodak EX-811
The clients.db file setting for the Kodak EX811 is:
The NOTRPICS tells the server not to transcode pictures which isn't the same as not rescaling them. You could try adding TR:JPEGORG to the entry and see if that helps.
Or is it the Kodak having to rescale too large a picture to fit its display? In which case add TR:JPEG640X480 or whatever the correct resolution for the screen is (800x480).
Your item is correctly set up as a Kodak EX-811 on the Media Receivers page, isn't it?

Re: Twonky 6.0 & Kodak EX-811
The frame is correctly identified as EX-811 in the Media Receivers.
The frame has the ability to rescale pictures as they download, so I'd rather Twonky didn't do anything.
I'll try a few of your suggestions, thanks.

Re: Twonky 6.0 & Kodak EX-811
Update:
I removed the EX-811 definition from the database, and it now defaults to Generic Media Receiver.
Pictures are no longer shruken and/or blurred
