Hi all,

I just created a NAS running openfiler out of an old PC I have. I plan on streaming videos and such to my ps3 from my NAS and its my understanding that since openfiler doesnt have any DLNA capabilities built in that I would need something like twonky, mediatomb, ushare etc.. Well, after doing some reading I've read a lot of good things about townky and want to give it a shot. Here's the deal though.....I am a helpless, pathetic noob when it comes to linux, i know almost nothing about it at this point. I might as well be wearing a diaper and sucking on a pacifier. I've tried to follow the linux instructions but alot of it is just foreign to me. I can get as far as logging in as root but thats about it. I'm not familiar with commands and scripts. So I was wondering if somebody would be kind enough to give me a pretty in depth step by step on how to get twonky installed on my NAS. I've done quite a bit of searching on the net but everything I've found seems to already assume that the user has a basic idea of how to get around in linux. I'm totally lost. Pleas Help!

Eh, I figured it out once a learned a few basic linux commands. Looks like I need to pick up one of those "Linux for Dummies" books. Thanks anyway.
